FAQs:

Q: Is SEPS currently looking for new members?

A: Unfortunately at this time, SEPS has a full regiment of investigators and researchers and does not need any additional members. However, please feel free to periodically check the website since that is where the information will be posted, should the need arise.

Q: How do I go about contacting SEPS about an investigation?

A: Fill out the form below and someone will contact you within 48 hours about your potential investigation.

Q: Will SEPS be able to investigate a location immediately?

A: SEPS will contact you and discuss the paranormal activity taking place. At that point the Case Manager will discuss with you the best date to do an investigation. SEPS will give you the first available date on their calendar. Please note that SEPS does have other investigations taking place and you might have to wait a short while for an investigation to take place. However, if you feel you have an emergency or a dangerous situation on your hands, SEPS will work on putting you at the top of their list.

Q: What are the best days for SEPS to investigate?

A: Due to the diverse work schedules of the SEPS members, Friday and Saturday evenings are best. However, if you have an emergency or another day of the week would work better for you, SEPS will certainly take your needs into consideration. Hey, without your patronage, where would we be?

Q: Does SEPS charge for investigations?

A: Absolutely NOT!!! SEPS is a not-for-profit organization and offers its services for free!!! However, if SEPS has to travel far or stay over night for an investigation, any help that you can offer for gas or a place to stay would be appreciated but NOT required.

Q: Will SEPS give out any information on me or paranormal activity found at my residence or business?

A: The level of information given out by SEPS is completely up to the home or business owner. SEPS is currently writing a book and does do a podcast and would like to share their findings with their audience but it in NO WAY means that your information will be given out or shared. SEPS does and has done completely confidential cases. SEPS has a waiver that binds them to confidentiality or full release based on what the home or business owner wishes to share.
NOTE: If SEPS investigates your private residence, they will only give out your first name and a general location and will not share your address, full name or contact info with ANYONE. If SEPS investigates your business they will not give out the name without your permission.

Q: How long do investigations generally last?

A: Each investigation is different. SEPS generally investigates for no less than two hours. However, depending on paranormal conditions the amount of investigation time WILL change.

Q: If SEPS does an investigation at my home, can I be present? Can I invite friends along?

A: If you feel it necessary to be present at the time of the investigation SEPS completely understands. They would ask that you be unobtrusive during the proceedings that take place during an investigation. SEPS would prefer that you NOT invite anyone to their investigations since unfamiliar people present can completely throws off the dynamics of their practices and possibly contaminate any data obtained. (Unfamiliar voices on a voice recorder can sound like an EVP until you realize it is the home owner's cousin's best friend that wanted to come along on the investigation and whispering to someone about what he had for dinner.)

A: Yes, yes they are. :-)
