EVPs

Listen very closely and you will hear a female giggle when I say 'The thing about it is, Lee' (the second time I say it).  This was recorded at the BCI bar in Whitwell, Tennessee on April 27th, 2008.

This EVP is from our investigation at the old South Pittsburg Hospital, on April, 6th 2008.  While several of our members are talking, you can hear what sounds like an upset child or baby.

Listen closely and you will hear a moan right before the words 'Is there anything here that would like to talk to us?'.  This EVP was recorded in an old building where they used to perform surgeries.

Listen closely and you will hear what sounds like someone yelling for help in the background.

This EVP was recorded while I was tyring to take a picture of a grave site at night.  There was only me and one of our female members.  You can here what sounds like someone saying names.  I'm not sure what the first or last one is saying for sure, but the middle one sounds like Harold.

This is an EVP of what sounds like a slave being beaten with chains.  This EVP was graciously shared with us by Dustin Taylor of the Southeastern Paranormal Society in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.  Thanks Dustin!!!

This one is loud, you might want to turn down your sound.

In this EVP you will here a voice say 'yes' after I ask if they can give me the winning lottery numbers.

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP):

A voice, sound or noise that is present on an audio recording but was not physically heard when the recording was made.  EVPs are thought to be paranormal in nature and created by 'ghosts' or 'spirits'.

EVPs were first discovered in 1959 by Swedish film producer Friedrich Juergenson while out in the woods, recording birdsong for a movie.  When he played back the sound, he found voices that weren't audible while he was recording.
